The Level II window preferences allow you to add a customizable ticker, TradeFlow meter, and other specific display options. To access these features, right-click in the Level II and select "Preferences."
- Add Ticker and TradeFlow meter - Place the mouse cursor over the right vertical bar (below). Hold down the left mouse button and drag it to the left. The ticker displays a trade time stamp, price, volume, and current or post market notations.


- Ticker options

- Annotates trades - Designates each trade as "Trade" (during market hours) or "FormT" (after market hours).
- New trades at top - Reverses the default order of "newest trade on bottom" to "newest trade on top."
- Time Display
- Seconds - Includes seconds in the trade time stamp.
- Minutes - Includes minutes (excluding seconds) in the trade time stamp.
- Minute updates only - Completely eliminates the time column and provide a minute-by-minute time display.

- Display TradeFlow meter - The TradeFlow Meter was created to provide a visual perspective of the trades that occur at the Bid, Offer, and in between over time.
- sec. history - Uses a time range (that can be set between 5 - 300 sec) to calculate the display.
- Ticker Font - Adjust the font, style, size, and color of the text in the Ticker section of the Level II window by left-clicking the "Font" button.
- Ticker colors - Each price tier of the Level II can be color customized. Left-click on the tier selection pull-down arrow then left-click on the desired tier. Left-click on the color selection pull-down arrow then left-click on the desired color. Repeat this process for each tier.
- Display Options

- Show round lots - Displays the number of shares without the last 2 digits (100 shares would be displayed as "1").
- Show seconds - Adds seconds to the Time field in the Level II display area.

- Show market participant status: Displays one of the following:
- "O" - Open from the current day or
- "K" - Closed for the current day

- Exclude closed MPIDs - Removes market participants that have a "K" status and are closed for the day.
- Enable vertical scrollbar - This feature is selected as a default. Uncheck this option to remove the vertical scrollbar.

- Use inverted default tier text color when highlighting ECNs -

- Treat all ECN book levels as one for monitoring purposes - This option is un-checked as a default. If selected, it will allow you to monitor ALL book quotes for a particular ECN by simply right-clicking on only one of them in the Level II display area.
