The MBT Navigator Order Entry Screen (OES) was designed for speed and ease of use. The OES offers only the available options for each order route, eliminating the need to memorize the distinct features and options of each route. Order entry defaults can be customized to your individual trading style.

1. Auto Fill - The OES automatically fills in the "Limit" and "Stop Price" fields with the first trade printed after the symbol has been entered. You can also have the maximum number of shares (based on current available buying power) auto-populate the "Quantity" field by simply left-clicking on the "BP" field.

2. Keyboard Navigation - Use the "Tab" key to move from field to field and from to button to button (use "Shift+Tab" to move backwards).
   • Quantity - The number of shares you wish to trade. Use the up & down arrows to quickly adjust the order quantity.
     
   • Limit price - The price at which you wish to execute your limit order. Configure three different price increments (in the Preferences-Order Entry window): "Ctrl + arrow," "Alt + arrow," and the arrow keys alone (example: .01, .05, & .10).
     
   • Stop Limit - The price at which you wish to execute your Stop Limit order. Use the up & down arrows to quickly adjust this field.
     
   • Route & Type - You can use the space bar to toggle from option to option. Options are automatically adjusted based on the order route chosen.

3. Account Info - Quickly determine your buying power, located in the "BP" field, and your current position in the displayed stock, located in the "Pos" field.

4. Security Status - Determine if a security is marginable and/or shortable by hovering your cursor over the "M" located in the lower right corner of the OES. A pop-up will appear with the status of the security.

   

5. Templates - The MBT Navigator provides many different Order Entry Screen (OES) templates. These OES templates are designed for various trading styles of traders.

   Its easy to open any of the OES templates. Right-click in a gray area of the OES and hover the cursor over "Template". Now, select a template.

   The Option OES Template will automatically appear when an option symbol is entered into the Level I area of the Level II window. Also, it will appear in the Option Chain window.

   Threshold Triggered Order Template (TTO) - This template gives you the variables required to place a TTO. To view the TTO template, right-click in the Order Entry Screen (OES) and select "Template"/"TTO".
   
   

   • Upper trigger - The stop price that is selected above the current market.
   • Lower trigger - The stop price that is selected below the current market.
   • Order Volume - Share quantity of the order. This can be adjusted in the Order Entry Preferences window to equal your current position.
