The MBT Navigator "Preferences-Order Entry" window is accessible by right-clicking in Order Entry Screen and then left-clicking "Preferences."

• Default quantity - The pre-defined order quantity displayed in the "Quantity" field in your OES.
• Position - When you select this option, the total number of shares you are long or short (in a position) will populate the "Quantity" field.
• Reserve show quantity - The pre-defined Reserve Order share volume that you display to the Market. Once this number of shares is executed, the number of shares of your order that is exposed to the market will continue to refresh until your total order is filled or cancelled.

• Quantity - The amount by which you can adjust your order quantity by using the up/down toggle arrows.
• Price - The amount by which you can adjust the "Limit price" of your order by using the up/down toggle arrows.
• Ctrl+arrow - The amount by which you can adjust the "Limit price" of your order by using the Ctrl + up/down toggle arrows.
• Alt+arrow - The amount by which you can adjust the "Limit price" of your order by using the Alt + up/down toggle arrows.

• Confirm order placement - By selecting this option, you will be asked to confirm each order before sending it to the market.

  

• Confirm order cancellation - By selecting this option, you will be asked to confirm each order cancellation before sending the request to the market.

  

• Confirm change orders - By selecting this option, a pop-up window will appear asking to confirm the properties of a "Change Order."
• Live order warning on exit - By selecting this option, you will be alerted if there are live orders in your account before you exit the Navigator.

  

• Expiration - Length of time that an order is requested to remain live. Each expiration option is only available on certain routes; please refer to our MBT Order Routing Grid for details.
  • Day - Stays live until 4:00 pm EST or until filled, whichever comes first.
  • Day+ - Stays live until 8:00 pm EST or until filled, whichever comes first.
  • IOC (Immediate Or Cancel) - Attempts to immediately fill as many shares as possible before cancelling your order.

• Market - The pre-selected closing route for each of the following markets: Nasdaq NM, Nasdaq Small Cap, OTC Bulletin Board, NYSE, and AMEX.
• Closing route - The pre-selected order route that will be used when right-clicking to close a position for each selected "Market."
• Order route - The pre-selected order route that will be used in the Order Entry "Route" field for each selected "Market."
