To close all or part of a position, right-click on the desired position in the Positions window and select the option desired. To close all positions, right-click anywhere in the Positions window and select "Close All Positions."

The Positions window offers 3 options to close position(s):

• Close a position: Closes an open position by sending a market order.

  

• Close part of a position: Allows you to select the number of shares you would like to close.

  

• Close all positions: Closes all open positions by sending a market order for each one. You may right-click anywhere in the Positions window to access the "Close All Positions" option.

  

Be aware that you will be asked to confirm the order if the "Confirm order placement" box located in the "Preferences-Order Entry" window is selected. These orders will be sent as market orders as set up in the "Order routing defaults" section located in the "Preferences-Order Entry" window.
